Jan Burton, Chair
Jan is an avid outdoor person and environmentalist and is a volunteer for the City of Boulder raptor monitor program. She served on the Boulder City Council for two years and is currently a columnist for the Boulder Daily Camera, often writing on relevant city governance topics. She co-founded Rhino Cubed, which makes tiny homes from shipping containers, and is increasingly vocal about the housing crisis. A dedicated music lover and CU College of Music Advisory Board member, her house is rumored to be a regular house concert venue. She is a member of Citizens Climate Lobby and believes fervently we need to do more to address climate change. She loves hiking and camping and is on a mission to visit all the National Parks in her 1961 Airstream.
Andrea Meneghel, Secretary
Born and raised in Michigan, Andrea has proudly called Colorado home for 25 years, embracing everything from serene mountains to vibrant communities. With a Master of Arts in International Policy (Negotiation & Conflict Resolution) from Middlebury Institute of International Studies, Andrea has served in diverse roles across global corporations, non-profits, and political offices.
Lauren Lambert Feldman, Treasurer
Lauren is a public policy professional with a passion for making a difference in the community. She is a self-described numbers geek whose professional background includes public policy and government relations for Google’s Southwest region, legislative affairs and senior budget advisor for Governor Hickenlooper, executive and legislative liasion for Colorado’s DHS, and a fiscal analyst for the Colorado state legislature.
Leslie Durgin
Leslie is everyone’s favorite Mayor of Boulder, and has a wealth of experience in public administration, public policy, and strategic planning.
Sam Weaver
Sam Weaver is a Boulder cleantech and optical systems entrepreneur by profession and a policy advocate for affordable housing funding, climate resiliency and clean energy by passion. Sam has served his communities as Mayor of Boulder (2019-2021), on Boulder City Council (2013-2021), as Sugarloaf fire chief (1998-2001), and as a member of State of Colorado appointed boards on clean energy funding and judicial oversight. Sam has led or co-led several start-up companies including Colorado Photonics, Cool Energy, and Proton Power, and is currently focused on graphene materials and quantum computing.
