The Open Boulder Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit that focuses on education concerning local Boulder issues and good city governance.
Bob Drake, Treasurer
After practicing law for one year (1976-1977), Bob ran the Colorado office and two campaigns for then Congressman Tim Wirth (D-CO), and then directed Wirth’s successful 1986 U.S. Senate campaign. In 1984, Bob opened a Greek restaurant on Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall.
In 1987, Bob teamed up with Paul Talmey, to form Talmey-Drake Research & Strategy, one of the state’s most successful market research firms, conducting annual election polling for The Denver Post and Colorado’s CBS affiliate, while also conducting over 2000 surveys and focus groups, including locally for the BVSD, the City of Boulder and Boulder County.
Brady Robinson
Brady Robinson is a climber and conservationist whose career has included over a decade at Outward Bound, 11 years running Access Fund, and engaging with businesses to protect wild places as executive director of The Conservation Alliance. He has worked on land conservation and rewilding projects in Chile and Argentina with Tompkins Conservation and Freyja Foundation, where he is currently the Director of Philanthropy. He serves on the Open Space Board of Trustees and the board of the Honnold Foundation.
