Bob Drake, Treasurer

After practicing law for one year (1976-1977), Bob ran the Colorado office and two campaigns for then Congressman Tim Wirth (D-CO), and then directed Wirth’s successful 1986 U.S. Senate campaign. In 1984, Bob opened a Greek restaurant on Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall.

In 1987, Bob teamed up with Paul Talmey, to form Talmey-Drake Research & Strategy, one of the state’s most successful market research firms, conducting annual election polling for The Denver Post and Colorado’s CBS affiliate, while also conducting over 2000 surveys and focus groups, including locally for the BVSD, the City of Boulder and Boulder County.

TERRI BRNCIC

Terri is a finance executive and CPA with 25+ years of experience building financial teams and infrastructure for growth-stage companies. A Boulder resident for over a decade, she ran for City Council in 2023, co-led the successful Safe Zones 4 Kids ballot initiative, and serves on the Boulder Bridge House board and with Big Tent Boulder County — work rooted in her commitment to good governance, transparency, and accountability. When she's not focused on civic work, she can most likely be found hiking Sanitas with her dog, Maggie. 

Brady Robinson

Brady Robinson is a climber and conservationist whose career has included over a decade at Outward Bound, 11 years running Access Fund, and engaging with businesses to protect wild places as executive director of The Conservation Alliance. He has worked on land conservation and rewilding projects in Chile and Argentina with Tompkins Conservation and Freyja Foundation, where he is currently the Director of Philanthropy. He serves on the Open Space Board of Trustees and the board of the Honnold Foundation.

Hernán Villanueva

Hernán was born in Peru and immigrated to the U.S. on a full-tuition scholarship for undergraduate studies, later earning a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from CU Boulder. He has called Boulder home for over a decade. Hernan now works as a researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where he develops and codes numerical methods to tackle complex multiphysics problems in flow dynamics and advanced manufacturing using high-performance computing. He likes to describe his work as a mix of math, physics, and software – and he truly loves it.

Outside the lab, Hernán stays involved in civic life. He served on Boulder's Environmental Advisory Board, where he helped update energy codes and founded the Front Range Sustainability Council, connecting 13 regional boards. He also writes opinion pieces on local issues as part of the Daily Camera's Community Editorial Board and currently serves on Boulder's Transportation Advisory Board.
